NVQF Cell
Objective:
The NVQs Cell is a special unit of TTB Sindh is responsible for evaluating occupational competencies of individuals.
The cell handle tasks such as:
• Assessing prior learning: Recognizing and accrediting skills and knowledge gained through work experience or informal learning for vocational qualifications recognized by NAVTTC.
• Conducting assessment: Administering, practical, written or oral exams to verify competencies.
• Issuing certifications: Providing official documentation that confirms an individual’s qualifications.
• Maintaining standards: Ensuring that the assessment processes meet regulatory and industry standards.
Administering NVQs Assessment: The department oversees the administration of exams, ensuring that they are conducted under standardized conditions to maintain their validity and reliability.
Managing Moderation: Examinations are marked, often by external examiners, to ensure impartiality. Moderation processes are in place to verify the consistency and accuracy of the marking.
Issuing Certificates: After marking and moderation, results are compiled and certificates are issued to successful candidates.
Assurance Quality: Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the assessment process are conducted to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and to identify areas for improvement. The NVQF Cell Manager is the head of the cell.
